Instructional Designer (Contract Position)

ADI is looking for instructional designers to develop math, science, engineering, and integrated STEM instructional materials using the ADI instructional model. Our unique instructional approach provides students with opportunities to learn disciplinary core ideas in math and science through investigations engaging students in authentic STEM practices. Instructional designers working with ADI develop standards-aligned investigations for grades 3-12 that can be taught using in-person, remote, and hybrid instructional approaches. This is a remote, contract position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality content aligned with the ADI instructional model.

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content

  • Create supporting material/media (e.g. audio, video, simulations, etc.)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Master’s in Instructional Design, Science Education, Mathematics Education, Engineering Education, or STEM education preferred

  • Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office (must be able to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience designing, developing, and delivering science, math, or engineering lessons.

Compensation & Time Commitment

Compensation: $300 per investigation.

Time Commitment: Each investigation will take approximately 4 - 6 hours to write
